Why do Hausa men feel reluctant to allow their wives to work? 0

Firstly, I'm a Hausa person by through and through but there's this attitude of our men that I notice which baffles me a lot. 70% of Hausa men I've come across, they don't like the idea of their wives working , I'd like to know what is the reason ?
